Last week Lacy Janson became the first Nole headed to London when she qualified for the US Olympic Track and Field team in pole vaulting.
Tonight, Mateo De Angulo got tagged to swim for the Columbian national team in the 400m free.
Tomorrow's a big day in track with a couple more Noles competing to make the team, including Maurice Mitchell.

Maurice made the Olympics in the 200m!!!!!!!!!! He broke out with an excellent start, and then held on to finish 2nd (the top 3 go to London).
Elsewhere, Dulkys is on the Lithuanian 15-man roster and as long as the team qualifies this week, he should be heading to London as well.
It's definitely good to see so many Noles representing their countries.

Will Dix be a coach pick to make the team? He would have been locked in if not for pulling his Hammy. Will he be ok by the time the Olympics start?

From what I understand, Walter will not be going unfortunately. The only event that I know of that he could still be in is the 4x100m relay, but I'm not sure whether they've picked the team or not. It really is too bad he had that hammy... worst possible time.
I saw a list on the local news station of all the FSU athletes that have qualified so far. There were also members of the British team and a couple other countries, although I didn't catch their names.

Lithuania got stunned by Nigeria yesterday 96-90, so from my understanding, Lithuania needs to win tomorrow against Puerto Rico if they hope to keep their Olympic dreams alive. (Speaking of which, it's so weird that they have their own Olympic team.)
