Tomorrow at 9am the NCAA will announce the penalties leveled against Penn State. They're supposed to be on par with the death penalty but not the death penalty. All I know is I hope that his wins record is included in whatever the punishment is. The way I view it, keeping all this a secret for 14+ years gave their football program an unfair advantage in recruiting and support. If they can take a year's worth of wins away for cheating in a class that no coaches knew about (and reported when they did), then certainly they can take away 14 years worth of wins when a coach and administration knowingly let an assistant coach attack young boys on campus facilities unchecked.
Whatever happens tomorrow morning though, it's going to be BIG.

Looks pretty stiff.
$60 million sanction. Four year football bowl ban. 40 scholarships lost over four years. Vacation of wins from 1998-2011. Five years of Probation.

BAMMMMMM
Very stiff indeed. So much to mull through right now.
I'm glad the $60 million will be donated towards groups working with child abuse victims. The bowl ban, the scholarships lost, and the probation will impact this program for years. The next step will be to see how many players (current and future) they lose out of this.
And of course, the wins record, that really had to go. I can't tell you how relieved that was included, the reason being that every single time I think about it, I can't help but think about what happened and what a shame that is. This really needed to happen.
